We are located just 5km from Whangarei City Centre.
Remember! YHA/BBH card members pay less for cabin and dormitory accommodation.
All bookings made online will be charged a deposit equal to the first night's accommodation. If you cancel before midday the day before your scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund, minus a $5 admin fee. If you cancel after midday the day prior to your booking, your deposit will be forfeited.
Standard Cabin
- Standard cabin with kitchenette.
- Cabins vary in size and layout, accommodating 1 to 6 persons, depending on guest requirements.
- Cabins contain a combination of double bed and single bunk beds.
- All linen is included.
- The kitchenette has a breakfast bar/worktop, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery.
- Guests have use of the centrally-located shared toilets, showers, hot spa, pool, kitchen and laundry, etc.
Backpackers' Budget Cabin
- Basic sleeping accommodation containing a double bunk bed with a single fixed bunk above (Backpackers budget single cabin has a king single bed only).
- All linen is included.
- Guests have use of the centrally-located shared toilets, showers, hot spa, pool, kitchen and laundry, etc.
Backpackers' Dormitory
- ADULT-ONLY ACCOMODATION.
- 10-bed shared accommodation with 10 single fixed bunk beds.
- All linen is included.
- The central area of the dorm has a table, chairs, and a fridge/freezer.
- Guests have use of the centrally-located shared toilets, showers, hot spa, pool, kitchen and laundry, etc.

Tent/Campervan Sites
- All sites have power.
- Sunny and shaded sites available.
- Grass or hard-surface sites available for vans.

Booking Policies
Arrival times are between 12 midday and 8pm. Anyone wishing to arrive outside of these hours needs to discuss their requirements with the hosts prior to day of arrival.
Checkout: Checkout time is 8-10am. If you need to check out earlier, please speak with staff the day before to arrange.
Cancellation Policy: Your credit card will be validated at time of booking. No charge will be made against the card unless you fail to give notice of cancellation by at least 12 midday the day before you are due to arrive. If you fail to do this the first night's accommodation cost will be charged to your credit card if we cannot re-let the accommodation.
Payment: Full payment to be made on arrival. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa.
